DESCRIPTION: ODP site 980 0-1 Myr benthic stable isotope data. Latitude: 55°29.1'N Longitude: 14°42.1'W Bathymetry: 2168 m Data File Columns ODP980-isotope.xls: Depth (mcd) = meters composite depth Age (ka) = age in thousands of years Cw d13C = Cibicidoides wuellerstorfi delta 13C vs VPDB Cw d18O = Cibicidoides wuellerstorfi delta 18O vs VPDB ODP980-agemodel.txt Depth (mcd) = meters composite depth Age (ka) = age in thousands of years Data precision: Data for the 0-350 ka interval (McManus et al., 1999), the 350-500 ka interval (Oppo et al., 1998), and the 500-1000 ka interval (Flower et al., 2000) have analytical precision better than 0.05 ‰ and 0.08 ‰ for d13C and d18O, respectively. Sample replicates indicate a reproducibility of better than 0.2 ‰ for both d13C and d18O.
