manngrds.dat - 36x72 grids of reconstructed annual temperature - for each year
   one record with year (i4) and one grid (72f5.2) - missing value is -9.99
   - top left grid box is centered at 87.5N, 2.5E - grids for 1730-1980

mannnhem.dat - 7 columns of data for 1400-1995
   col. 1: year
   col. 2: reconstructed mean annual N. Hemisphere annual temperature
   col. 3: actual mean annual N. Hemisphere annual temperature calculated
      from same sampling of grid boxes as reconstructed series
   col. 4: col. 1 plus one sigma uncertainty limits
   col. 5: col. 1 minus one sigma uncertainty limits
   col. 6: col. 1 plus two sigma uncertainty limits
   col. 7: col. 1 minus two sigma uncertainty limits

mannnino.dat - 7 columns of data for 1650-1993
    columns same as in mannnhem.dat, with N. Hemisphere replaced with NINO3
    index (mean temperature from the 8 gridpoints available  within the
    NINO3 box (5N to 5S, 150W to 90W)

mann.pc1.txt - reconstructed principal component #1 for 1400-1980
mann.pc2.txt - reconstructed principal component #2 for 1450-1980
mann.pc3.txt - reconstructed principal component #3 for 1750-1980
