GEOGRAPHIC REGION: Global PERIOD OF RECORD: N/A LIST OF FILES: Readme.ostermann2000.txt (this file), FORTRAN program files mat_convert.for and mat_unmix.for, and C program file curry19.c. DESCRIPTION: Inter-Laboratory Mass Spectrometer Calibration Programs using empirically derived equations as described in Ostermann (2000). FORTRAN program files mat_convert.f and mat_unmix.f, and C program file curry19.c. mat_convert.f: This program converts raw isotopic data from Version 5.2 of ISODAT of the Finnigan MAT252 at WHOI into enrichments with resepct to VPDB, for the A and B lines. This program also corrects for gas-mixing in the source. mat_unmix.f: This program converts raw isotopic data from the WHOI Finnigan MAT252 into enrichments with resepct to WHOI Reference Gas and corrects for gas-mixing in the source. curry19.c: C program to take raw data from Finnigan MAT252 mass spec, reformats the exponential notation to a fixed format and outputs only specific columns of information. The following lines of data must be selected using the "format editor" in ISODAT: 2) Date / Time 3) Spec. -No / Sample Ident /Sample size 10) Process Information 13) Ion-gauge 33) Std. Deviation 38) Sample [ion corr]
