After two years reconnaissance researches, an ice core to the bottom (171 m) was successfully extracted in August 2003. We report in this paper the observational results during 3 years (2001-2003) with respect to mass balance, changes in surface level, surface flow velocities, meteorological and climatological data, and pits.
