STUDY NOTES: The data consists of two timeseries representative of Northern Hemisphere growing season temperatures for the period 1400-1994, derived from means of 383 maximum latewood density chronologies from the northern Boreal forest. Both series are given in dimensionless standardised anomalies, and one has also been rescaled to give an estimate of Northern Hemisphere land and marine temperature anomalies.
