STUDY NOTES: Repository of paleontological fossils. The repository contains Cambrian through Devonian marine fossils, primarily from the Midwest and western North America. Smaller holdings include a significant collection of plant fossils of Carboniferous, Cretaceous and Tertiary Age. MPM vertebrate collections include Pleistocene vertebrates from Wisconsin, Latest Cretaceous dinosaurs from the Hell Creek Formation of North Dakota/Montana and a research collection from the Eocene of Wyoming.
