DESCRIPTION:
The purpose of this directory is to provide a place to store data that has not
been fully ingested into the WDC IMPD Database system. 


As of May 21, 2014 all files in the following sub-directories have been fully
ingested into the IMPD: firescar, charcoal, establishment.

On September 20, 2014 the following directory containing firescar and
establishment contributions from Sherriff et al. 2014 was created and 
populated:
/ftp/pub/data/paleo/firehistory/updates/contributions-by-author/sherriff2014
