A deep ice core to 2503m at Dome Fuji, Antarctica ( 77°19'S, 39°42'E, elevation 3810m.) was recovered during 1995-1996. A second deep core was started in 2003. During the 2005/2006 austral summer, core was recovered to the depth of 3028.52 m, and in 2006/2007 a depth of 3035.22m was reached. References: Horiuchi, K., T. Uchida, Y. Sakamoto, A. Ohta, H.
