The pattern of precipitation \r\nbears a striking resemblance to the oxygen-isotope record from\r\nGreenland ice cores, with increased tropical precipitation \r\nassociated with warm periods in the high northern latitudes. \r\nThe largest change, at the onset of interstadial 12, occurred \r\nvery rapidly, in about 25 years. The chronology of the events \r\nfound in our record requires a reevaluation of previously \r\npublished time scales for climate events during this period.\r\n\r\n","author":null,"citation":"Burns, S.J., D.
