Rainwater collected at Guiyang,  ~160 km northwest of Dongge Cave, has oxygen isotope ratios (VSMOW) which range between -3.4 per mil in the winter and -12.4 per mil in the summer. \nThe Dongge Cave isotope record is therefore a proxy for Asian Monsoon intensity.\n","version":"1.0","xmlId":"7296"}
