CH4, 1,050 p.p.b.v. CH4) were used at Bern \r\nand one (499 p.p.b.v. CH4) at LGGE, to calibrate the gas chromatographs. \r\nThe mean CH4 analytical uncertainty (1s) is 10 p.p.b.v.\r\nParts of the EDC96 data are published in Monnin et al. (2001), \r\nFlückiger et al.(2002), Spahni et al. (2003), and Spahni et al. (2005),  \r\nplus EDC99 data in Spahni et al. (2005). All the new data are published in \r\nLoulergue et al. (2008).  The EDC3_gas_a age scale is detailed in \r\nLoulergue et al. (2007) and is available on NOAA-NCDC database with ice \r\nchronology (Parrenin et al., 2007). \r\nMean value are given for all the samples with <5cm of depth differences.  \r\nThese data also available from the Nature Supplementary Materials for \r\nLoulergue et al.
