We present here an alternative, empirical approach \r\nto aminostratigraphy in which we plot amino acid enantiomeric \r\nratios versus latitude (for localities along the Pacific coast \r\nof the United States), and generate isochronal correlations \r\nby connecting data points of geographically proximal localities \r\nthat have similar D:L ratios and zoogeographic aspect.
