NOTE: Text versions of the worksheets contained within the PAGES2k 
Excel data files "DatabaseS1-All-proxy-records.xlsx"  and 
"DatabaseS2-Regional-Temperature-Reconstructions.xlsx" were added 
to this online folder on 18-May-2016.  The ten "S1...txt" files 
contain data from the worksheets in Excel Database S1,
and the nine "S2...txt" files contain data from the worksheets 
in Excel Database S2.



There are ten Antarctic auxiliary information files 
which are located at:

Description of each file:
README.txt - this file, the README file for all PAGES 2K 
        auxiliary information. 
AntREADME.txt - description of data files and R scripts 
        which reproduce the Antarctic reconstruction 
	provided for the PAGES 2k Network Paper published 
	in Nature Geoscience in 2013.
Ant_instrum_target.csv - instrumental data used as input to
        the R scripts. 
AntarcticProxyMatrix.csv - proxy-based core data used as 
        input to the R scripts.
AntLocal-Functions.r - R script used to create the 
        reconstruction.
AntReconScript.r - R script used to create the 
        reconstruction.
recon_EAplusWA.csv - one of the four reconstructions output
        by the R scripts.
recon_EastAnt.csv - one of the four reconstructions output 
        by the R scripts.
recon_FullAnt.csv - one of the four reconstructions output 
        by the R scripts.
recon_WestAnt.csv - one of the four reconstructions output 
        by the R scripts.
