Jules Ecology - Climatology - precipitation analyses Cores are stored at Humboldt State University, Biological Sciences Department, lab of Erik S. Jules. Cores are available to other researchers. The tree-ring data was originally collected for studies assessing the spread dynamics of the pathogen, Phytophthora lateralis, on Port Orford cedar (Chamaecyparis lawsoniana). Total ring width was measured. 3350 cores from 1537 cedars were cross-dated using a combination of visual techniques and the COFECHA program. 965 series from 593 cedars were in the COFECHA master chronology. 65 series from 61 cedars are contained here in the archived ITRDB collection.
